Lithuania handed over another batch of M577 armored command and control vehicles to Ukraine. In total, the country has donated one billion euros worth of aid to the Defense Forces.
Lithuania has announced the transfer of a batch of M577 armored command and staff vehicles to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. This was reported by the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense, UNN reports.
Details
It is noted that the batch of armored vehicles arrived in Ukraine on April 23. The exact number of vehicles is not reported.
The ministry said that this year Lithuania has already transferred 155 mm ammunition, M577 armored personnel carriers, anti-drone systems, ammunition for the Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher, generators, and even a light attack aircraft, a disassembled L-39ZA Albatross aircraft.
In addition, Ukraine received from Lithuania the necessary equipment and warm clothing for the winter season
Lithuania's support for Ukraine is long-term and already amounts to one billion euros. Lithuania has provided Ukraine with military support worth about 610 million euros. This year, support has already been provided for about 84 million euros
